Mastering various techniques of yoga in the places of power
April 13 to 26, 2020, 14 daysWe will go to a yoga tour to places of power of Bhutan.
During the trip, we will learn and master various techniques for remembering past lives.
In the places wh ere the great yogis and yoginis of the past practiced (Padmasambhava, Milarepa, Yeshe Tsogyal and other practicians). The surrounding atmosphere will help to understand yourself better.
Places of power of Bhutan and Nepal will help to learn the stages, which were recommended by Patanjali in the text of “Yoga Sutra”: pratyahara (distraction from organs of sense), dharana (concentration), dhyana (deep dive into yourself) and samadhi (awareness of the true Self and unclouded vision of the world around).
Note: along the entire route of travel, lectures and talks about yoga and self-improvement will be organized, as well as practices of mantra OM. The practice of asanas of hatha yoga will be carried out wherever possible, and will be actual.
Day 1 - Meeting at the airport. Departure from Moscow. SU 232 flight is at 19:50, arriving at 4:20 (price of return ticket 20700 rubles)
Day 2 - Morning flight Delhi - Paro. Arrival at Paro. Airport pick-up by the guide. Moving to Thimphu (capital of Bhutan) (approx. 2 hours). Hotel accommodation. In the afternoon, meeting with the participants, acquaintance, discussion of objectives of the trip. City tour. Overnight at the hotel of Thimphu.
Day 3 - After breakfast, visit the Cheri Goemba monastery, located close to the city on a hill. The rise in one direction takes about 40 minutes. Lecture on the theme of self-development and yoga. Meditation for beginners. Evening mantra Om in the hotel. Overnight at the hotel of Thimphu.
Day 4 - Moving Thimphu - Punaka (about 3 hours). Hotel accommodation. The practical part of learning yourself. Mastering Pratyahara (diverting attention fr om external objects). Free time in the city. Overnight in Punaka.
Day 5 - Moving Punaka - Gangte (approximately 3 hours). Visiting the Gangtey Goemba monastery and a small walk through the village of Gangtey. Dharana, selecting an object of concentration. Overnight in Gangte.
Day 6 - Return to Paro (the journey takes about 7 hours). Visiting Wangdi Phodrang. This city was considered the second capital of Bhutan. We make a stop for lunch and continue our journey. Dhyana, the technique of immersion in yourself. Overnight at the hotel of Paro.
Day 7 - Breakfast in the hotel. Visiting the famous monastery, Taksang Lakhang. Getting there in one direction takes about 3 hours. It is possible during one half of the way to go there by mules. Taksanglakhang is a famous monastery in Bhutan. It hangs on a cliff, its height is 3120 m, 700 m above the of Paro valley. The name of the monastery is translated as a tigress nest, according to legend, Padmasambhava appeared in this cave, sitting on the tigress, in which his wife Yeshe Tsogyal had turned. In the cave also Milarepa meditated. Practical part: samadhi, the consideration of this technique. Return to the hotel. Evening mantra Om. Overnight at the hotel of Paro.
Day 8 - Breakfast in the hotel. Visiting the ancient monastery of the 7th century, Kichu Lakhang. Hidden away in the garden, the exquisite monastery Kichu, located in Bumthang Jampa monastery, also Jokhang monastery in Lhasa and one in the vicinity of Shigatse make a rectangle in Tibet. In the 7th century, before Padmasambhava, Tibet king Songsten Gampo saw these monasteries in meditation. To defeat the terrible demon Thabet, wh ere her heart was, Jokhang Monastery was built (Lhasa, 638 year). Close to her left leg, Kichu Lhakhang was built in Paro in 659, and near her left knee they built Jampa Lhakhang in Bumthang. In total, according to the plan of the king Songsten Gampo 108 temples were built. In 1968, the Queen Mother Ashi Kesang built the second temple, which is an exact copy of the first. Day 9 - Airport transfer. Flight Paro - Kathmandu. Hotel accommodation in Kathmandu. Evening mantra Om.
Day 10 - Morning meditation and practice of hatha yoga. Visiting Farpinga and the cave of Padmasambhava, Vajra Yogini temple. Practice: consolidating previously studied techniques in places wh ere famous yogis and yoginis of the past were practicing. In the evening - lectures on the topics of self-improvement in the hotel in Kathmandu. Mantra Om.
Day 11 - Morning meditation and practice of hatha yoga. Visiting Bodnath stupa. In the evening - lectures on the topics of self-improvement in the hotel in Kathmandu. Mantra Om.
Day 12 - Morning meditation and practice of hatha yoga. Visiting Namo Buddha stupa. Lecture at Namo Buddha. Evening mantra Om in the hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 13 - Morning meditation and practice of hatha yoga. Free day in Kathmandu. In the evening - lectures on the topics of self-improvement in the hotel in Kathmandu. Mantra Om.
Day 14 - Practice of hatha yoga. Flight Kathmandu - Delhi.
Day 15 - Return to Moscow. SU 235 flight at 01:50
